Shri Murasoli Maran, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, has cleared 42 Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) proposals involving FDI worth Rs.123 Crore. The major investment proposals pertain to sectors such as chemicals & petro-chemicals, health, consumer items, automobile components and software development. The list of proposals cleared by Shri Maran is given below. Earlier, the Foreign Investment Promotion Board had submitted its recommendations for the Minister's clearance.
