ADVANI CONDOLES THE DEATH OF HINDI
NOVELIST GAURA PANT ‘SHIVANI’

Minister, Shri L.K. Advani has deeply condoled the death of eminent
Hindi Writer, Gaura Pant ‘Shivani’ who passed away here, today.
She was 79 years and was suffering from liver ailment.
In his condolence
message Shri Advani said that in the death of Shivani the Hindi
literature world has lost a popular and eminent novelist and the
void is difficult to fill. The sensitive portrayal of women’s
characters in her novels earned her a separate place in Hindi
literature, he added.
