| MoS (Home) Jitender Singh to Visit Chattisgarh.

Union Minister of State of Home Affairs, Sh. Jitender Singh will be visiting Chattisgarh tomorrow. During his 3 day visit to the State, the Minister will visit Jagdalpur, Dantewada, Basaguda and Raipur.
During his visit, the Minister would be interacting with the local public, public representatives, officials of the State Government and Central Armed Paramilitary Forces. The Minister would review the development works being undertaken in the region on account of various Central Government Schemes being implemented by the State Government and the CAPFs. The development activities being undertaken by other agencies would also be observed.
The objectives of the tour include understanding the area and its concerns in a better way by observing the ground situation in person. The other important objectives of the tour are to devise ways to coordinate, improve and expedite the development activities in the region and to enhance job opportunities for the local population. During the visit, the Minister would try to reach out to the people, specially the tribal population, and to give a healing touch to them.
