| PRESIDENT OF INDIA'S GREETINGS ON IDU'L FITR |
The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has greeted fellow citizens on the occasion of Idu'l Fitr, which is being celebrated tomorrow.
In his message the President has said, "On the joyous occasion of Idu'l Fitr, I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to all my fellow citizens.
Idu'l Fitr marks the culmination of the period of fasting during the Holy month of Ramzan which is a month of blessings and forgiveness. The festival reminds us of our duties towards the poor and downtrodden as well as the need for charity and generosity towards all.
May this auspicious day strengthen mutual goodwill and instill in us a sense of unity and pride in the composite culture of India".
