Shri K.C. Venugopal takes Charge as Minister of State for Civil Aviation

Shri K.C. Venugopal took charge as Minister of State for Civil Aviation today afternoon. On his arrival at Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan in New Delhi, he was received by the Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation Shri K.N. Shrivastava and other senior officers of the Ministry and its attached offices.
Shri Venugopal later interacted with the officers who briefed him about the functioning of the Ministry and various issues concerning the civil aviation sector. He was also apprised about the recent measures taken by the Ministry. The Minister in his remarks called for coordinated efforts by all stakeholders to boost the growth of the sector.
Earlier Shri Venugopal was Minister of State for Power.
