In the by-gone months
of the year 2012, there is fall in trade deficit from Feb 2012 to April-2012,
rise in May 2012, fall in June 2012 and since then it is rising till October
2012. The month wise value of Exports, Imports and Trade Deficit are as below:

The Current Account
deficit in 2011-12 at US$ 78.2 billion was 4.2 per cent of GDP as compared with
US$ 45.9 billion forming 2.7 per cent of GDP in 2010-11.
This
