Jet and Etihad Delegation meets Anand Sharma
|
A delegation of Jet Airways and Etihad Airlines of UAE including Shri Naresh Goyal, Chairman Jet Airways and James Hogan, President and CEO of Etihad Airways met the Union Minister of Commerce Industry and Textiles, Shri Anand Sharma. The delgation briefed the Minister about their plans in India in the wake of liberalization of FDI regime in the aviation sector. Mr Sharma said “we have put in place an enabling policy and any investment under the policy is welcome.”
Shri Sharma is Visiting Abu Dhabi on 17-18 February, 2013 for the first meeting of the India-UAE High Level Task Force on Investment, for which Shri Sharma is the co-chair from the Indian side. The co-chair from the other side is Sheikh Hamid Al Nahayan of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA).
