Passing out Parade of 3rd Batch ASI/Exe, 1st June 2013

 

            In a colourful ceremony, a passing out parade of  3rd   Batch  ASI/Executive was held on 1st June 2013 at CISF Regional Training Centre Campus, Thakkolam, Arakkonam.  330 ASI/Exe including 09 women took the 'oath' of allegiance.  Shri Mullappally Ramachandran, Minister of State for Home Affairs took the Salute and reviewed the parade as Chief Guest.  On this occasion, distinguished guests,  CISF personnel and their families were present.  It was a moment of pride and accomplishment for the trainees and trainers as well. 

 

            Shri Rajeev, IPS, Director-General, CISF RTC Arakkonam welcomed Shri Mullappally Ramachandran, Minister of State for Home Affairs and expressed gratitude for being the Chief Guest on this occasion.   Director General, CISF, highlighted the diversified role of CISF and its growth. He explained the endeavor of  RTC Arakkonam in shaping the all round persona of trainees for grooming them as excellent leaders of tomorrow by imparting qualitative training.  

 

            Shri Mullappally Ramachandran, Minister of State for  Home Affairs addressed the 3rd  Batch  ASI/Executive  trainees and congratulated for the grand parade which was of a very high standard.  The parade was a reflection of professionalism, ability and discipline of the trainees.  The Chief Guest also congratulated the officers and trainers of RTC for their excellent efforts to make the parade so impressive.  He said that all the trainees would join the mainstream of CISF to strengthen the security apparatus of the country.  The Minister  emphasized  that  there  was  no    substitute   to  hard work, integrity and honesty.  He urged the trainees to dedicate themselves to the service of the nation with utmost sincerity and dedication to uphold the honour of the pledge they have just  taken. 

 

 

 The Chief  Guest highlighted that CISF is the Force which has made its presence felt across the entire length and breadth of the country in protecting the economic assets of the nation as without a sound economy no country can substantially and holistically develop. CISF has  been  entrusted with pivotal responsibilities to provide security cover to the Iconic Institutions of the Country like, Airports, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space, Delhi Metro, Government Buildings in Delhi, Heritage Monuments, Power & Oil Sector, Sea-Ports and Establishments of Private Sector having significant importance.  

            Shri Mullappally Ramachandran lauded the efficient and commendable performance of CISF in providing best security coverage for Airports of the country, where a passenger can feel himself safe.   Presently, CISF is providing security cover to 59 Airports of the country and using the state of art technology and has trained its personnel suitably to thwart any threat to the security of airports in the country.

            The Chief Guest gave away the prizes and trophies to the following trainees for their outstanding performance during training:-

 

1)         ASI/Exe.  Alvina Raleng                -       All Round Best                                 

2)         ASI/Exe.  Sohan Lal                          -         Best in Indoor

3)     ASI/Exe.     Jagannath Hazarika         -         Best in Outdoor

            4)    ASI/Exe.    Kapil Bharti                  -        Best in Firing

            5)   ASI/Exe.     Vivek Lama (Parade Commander – Governor Trophy

              The Chief Guest also handed over the  ISO 9001:2008 Certificate to Shri Anand Mohan,IPS, Principal,CISF, RTC,Arakkonam on this occasion.This certification  confirms the standard of Quality Management System in imparting the best quality Police training.
