NATIONAL SCHOOL OF DRAMA GETS DEEMED UNIVERSITY STATUS |

The Government has declared the National School of Drama, New Delhi as Deemed to be University with immediate effect. The declaration has been made in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 on the advice of the UGC.
The National School of Drama will adhere to the guidelines/instructions issued by UGC from time to time as applicable to the Deemed Universities. The National School of Drama will take necessary steps to strengthen its research capabilities, teaching faculty and library. UM/SPS/SB |
