Centre sends forensic team to Hyderabad

RAF STATIONED IN THE CITY PLACED AT STATE’S DISPOSAL

The centre is keeping a close watch on the situation arising out of the bomb blast in Hyderabad today. It is in constant touch with the Andhra Pradesh government. The Rapid Action Force contingent stationed in Hyderabad has been placed at the disposal of the State Government. A team of forensic experts has been rushed to Hyderabad to help investigate the nature of the blast.

The Union Home Minister, Shri Shivraj Patil spoke to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and assured him of all possible assistance from the Centre. Strongly condemning the blast, the Union Home Minister conveyed his sympathies to the kins of those killed. He cautioned people about the evil designs of the forces which are trying to foment communal trouble. Shri Patil appealed to people to remain calm and cooperate with the government in maintaining peace and harmony. He also reiterated the Government’s resolve to sternly deal with the perpetrators of such incidents.
