Chess Player Hari Krishna Signs Agreement With GAIL

The renowned Chess Player and winner of Junior World Chess Championship Shri P. Hari Krishna signed an Endorsement Agreement with the GAIL (India) Ltd in the presence of the Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports, Shri Sunil Dutt here today. GAIL has decided to sponsor Shri Hari Krishna, on the appeal of the Sports Minister, for one year and provide him financial help of up to Rs. 10 Lakh. This financial assistance shall be available for bearing varied expenses of the player and would enable him to gain national and international exposure and improve his performance. The assistance would also be utilized for foreign coaching and travelling etc.
