PM condoles demise of Ibrahim Sulaiman Sait

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has condoled the death of Shri Ibrahim Sulaiman Sait. In a condolence message, the Prime Minister said: “I have heard the news of the passing away of Shri Ibrahim Sulaiman Sait, leader of the Indian National League, with profound sadness. Shri Sait was a true nationalist, a patriot, who had the best interests of our people and the Nation at heart. He served the people of Kerala with distinction and dedication. He was deeply religious and also modern and progressive in his views. In his death, the people of Kerala have lost a valued leader. The Nation will mourn the passing away of a nationalist who was committed to the welfare of the downtrodden. I convey my sincere condolences to his family and his followers”. RK/HS/LV
